Hello Readers
Lately in science class we have been doing a unit on solutions and mixtures.
4 different types of mixtures and solutions are:
Heterogeneous Mixture (Mechanical Mixtures): you can see all the substances that are mixed into it.
For example, a granola bar is a heterogeneous mixture, and birdseed is another form of heterogeneous mixture.

Homogeneous Mixture (solutions): can’t see the different substances. It looks and feels as if it is only made from one substance.
For example, water or drink mixtures like Kool-Aid are homogeneous mixtures.
Saturated Solutions: is a solution with all the spaces in between the particles filled.
For example: when you mix Kool-Aid and some of the crystals float to the bottom that means all the spaces are filled and it is a saturated solution.
<– The spaces were fill and the Kool-Aid crystals sank to the bottom.
Unsaturated Solutions: is a solution that has unfilled spaces.
For example, when you mix kool-aid and all of the crystals mix in, it still has unfilled spaces and it is a unsaturated solution.
<– All the crystals are mixed in.
