Acid Rain

Hello Readers

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately, that is not very good. I am really going to try and write more often about school and home.

In LA class we are working on interviews about the environment, my groups topic is acid rain, and I thought it would be interesting to write a post about it.

Acid Rain

Acid rain is a serious environmental issue that affects many places all over the world. Acid rain mainly affects lakes, streams, and forests and the plants and animals that live in the ecosystem.

Changing the ways of our society, and making personal changes can help stop acid rain. Acid rain can be caused by vehicle gas, and smoke from smoke stacks. Flin Flon which is a small little town 2 hrs from Snow Lake causes a lot of acid rain in places like Toronto. There is a smoke stack in Flin Flon that produces a lot of pollution in to the air, and then it travel’s to Toronto then it rains acid rain over Toronto.

I think that this is a serious issue that we should all try and stop or at least reduce. One way you could cut back on acid rain is by car pooling.

Until Next Time, Toni
