Red Campaign

Hello Readers

Nata Village Blog

A few weeks ago Mr. Fisher set us up with Bloglines accounts. He asked us to set up required reads folder. One of the blogs he asked to put in that folder is a blog from Nata Village. This is a blog that two nurses that work in Nata Village write. They write about what it is like to live in Africa and the troubles that occur. They recently wrote a post about the Red Campaign that was started by Bono.

Red Campaign

The Red Campaign is a way of raising money for HIV/AIDS in Africa. It was started by Bono. Many companies are selling red products and so much from that special product goes to help HIV/AIDS. Some of the items that you can buy to support this are Red Converse Shoes, Red iPod Nano’s, and the Gap have some red products for sale.

I think that this a really great thing that is happening because it is helping others and the money is going to a good cause. I know that if I am at the Gap I will be buying a red shirt so I know that I contributed to HIV/AIDS in Africa. If you would like to take a look at a site with pictures of the red products or for more information on the Red Campaign Click Here, and here!

What do you think of the Red Campaign?

Until Nex Time, Toni
